Job Description
The Field Service Technician will be responsible for installing new machines, training customers, and performing preventative maintenance on current machines at customer locations. This candidate will be customer-facing and needs to have strong communication skills and professionalism. This position requires travel 50%-75% of the time and candidates will work roughly 45 hours/week while on the road.
ResponsibilitiesInstallation of RFID security gatesContribute to project meetings with internal and external stakeholdersCoordinate rental equipment delivery and pickup for installationsCoordinate return shipment of toolboxes and/or pallets needed for installationCommunicate with onsite electrical technician regarding all electrical needs and requirements of the installationPerform maintenance training on the AMH and/or security gate equipment to the customerPerform operations and software training on the AMH and/or security gate equipment to the customerTest, final inspect, and document results assuring all AMH and/or security gate equipment meets company standardsComplete all required documentation related to manufactured goods and associated installations and enter it into the internal tracking systemProvide installation and/or service call trip reports and summaries to the proper team members and managementWhen not traveling, support Customer Care with taking AMH or security gate cases to troubleshoot and resolve or work with Manufacturing Manager to build AMH componentsMonitor, track and update assigned customer support cases related to PM and service visitsProvide input for potential product and/or process updates, maintain installation/service manualsMust carry company-provided laptop and cell phone to conduct necessary business when away from the officeEssential SkillsMechanical skillsTroubleshootingCommunication and people skillsElectromechanical assemblyElectrical skillsRepairHydraulicsSchematic readingMaintenance technicianPneumaticsCalibrationPreventive maintenanceInstallation experienceAdditional Skills & QualificationsField service experienceInstallation expertiseElectro-mechanical assemblyMachine buildingPanel buildingTroubleshootingPreventative maintenanceStrong communication skillsWhy Work Here?

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
