**THE ROLE** **:**
The Field Service Technician will be responsible for executing field service activities at customer sites in a safe and efficient manner. This role includes system troubleshooting, works with mechanical, electrical, diesel equipment conditions, conducts preventative maintenance and parts inventory, and can identify and remedy safety issues (both Company and Customer owned equipment). Has direct interfacing with customer and potentially works at multiple sites / with multiple technologies. Critical thinking in this role is a critical item.
**CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Provide Technical support to Customer Service and customers.
+ Investigate field requirements in terms of design application, and failures for various conditions and determine solutions for customers.
+ Complete field service assignments as needed
+ Demonstrates high impact culture through innovation, accountability and empowerment
+ Must be able to function in a team environment and individually
+ Usually works with direct supervision but can work independently if needed
+ Perform field service on pumps for customers (i.e., repairs, start up, warranty, testing, installation, etc.). This includes pump and system vibration data collection, analysis, and review.

+ Travel – up to 20%
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ 6+ months of technical work experience in electrical, mechanical, diesel, or fusion
+ 1+ years of experience providing field service in a manufacturing / heavy machinery environment preferred
+ A clean driving record and valid driver’s license
+ Capable of obtaining a CDL, class A or B with applicable endorsements
+ Possess a working knowledge of pump or rotating equipment mechanical design.
+ Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills.
+ Customer services experience
+ Excellent communication (written and oral) and personal interaction skills required.
+ The ability to conduct training to both technical and operations personnel.
+ Effectively analyze and report data in a logical and systematic way so that it can be used to manage resources.
+ Develop and write comprehensive technical reports on the assessment of pump repairs and field service calls.

Salary range:
$38,300.00 - $61,300.00
