\nAs the Building Automation Field Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of our Honeywell and Tridium building automation systems. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering world class service to our clients, contributing to the seamless operation of smart buildings, and championing Honeywell's commitment to excellence.
You will report directly to our Field Service Supervisor, and you will cover the New York City service area.
\n\nKey Responsibilities:
\n\n\n\tPerform preventative maintenance on building automation equipment to ensure optimal functionality\n\tDiagnose and troubleshoot issues promptly, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime and disruptions\n\tProvide on-site support to clients, addressing technical inquires, and offering guidance on system usage\n\tMaintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all service activities including installation records, maintenance reports, troubleshooting procedures, etc.\n\tInterfaces with service business leaders, service supervisors, service project managers or subcontractors on projects to coordinate activities as required in an ethical and professional manner\n\tProvides field proposals for retrofits, upgrades and or enhancements to existing equipment\n\tEnsure proper use of safety and personal protection equipment\n\tAcquire security and other clearances as required by customer\n\n\nThe compensation range for this position is $34- $48 per hour. The actual compensation offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
\n\n\nYOU MUST HAVE:
\n\n\n\t2+ years of experience within HVAC or field service industry\n\tTechnical and mechanical aptitude\n\tProficiency in programming and troubleshooting HVAC and building automation systems\n\tExperience identifying and utilizing trade tools and PPE appropriately\n\tAbility to work independently and as a team depending on project needs\n\tPhysical ability to lift up-to 50lbs at times\n\tAbility to travel throughout the service area\n\tValid Driver’s License and driving record acceptable to Honeywell\n\n\nWE VALUE:
\n\nKnowledge of system protocols including BACnet, Lon, Modbus, HTML.
