About The Role\n

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team. Field Service Technicians are the face of Seegrid that provide exceptional onsite service and timely resolutions for our customers located across Michigan. This role is responsible for customer support, troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical issues, and ensuring AMRs operate efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused mindset. This Field Service Technician role is fully remote and will require frequent travel between Detroit, Flint, and Lansing Michigan to service General Motors Customer Care and Aftersale facilities. \n

Responsibilities Include:\n\nPossess a unique combination of hands-on problem solving, analytical thinking and a customer-service spirit\nManage and conduct all on-site troubleshooting, repair and testing tasks for powered industrial trucks, robotic and vision guided systems\nPerform routine maintenance tasks to improve reliability and prevent failures\nWork with a collaborative attitude and team spirit in an ever-changing dynamic environment\nCoach customer staff on safety, equipment operation and maintenance best practices\nMaintain detailed daily record keeping and reporting, including resolutions implemented, records of time, expenses and materials\nRemain prepared for customer service calls which most likely require local travel on short notice\nTake ownership on-going skill development by engaging in regular product and software trainings\nFollow all safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment\n\n

Required Qualifications:\n\nAssociates degree in electrical\/mechanical technology, or at least 3 years of experience in related field\nAbility to work long hours in noisy and busy environments\nAbility to lift 50 pounds\nStrong customer interface with commitment to customer satisfaction\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nGood technical knowledge of Windows; proficient in Microsoft Office\nStrong work ethic and willingness to learn\nAbility to travel regularly between Flint, Lansing, and Detroit while maintaining a clean driving record \nMust be a highly responsible individual who can work independently and with minimal supervision\n\n
