Position Summary This position will perform efficient and thorough mechanical repairs and or maintenance of primarily CAT equipment at customer job sites. Primary Responsibilities Reside in or around Columbus, OH or eastern Indiana. Expectation to visit Richmond IN office when not traveling.Ability to travel within northeast states or other areas.Perform advanced troubleshooting and diagnosing of equipment malfunctions and failures at job sites.Cleans, repairs, reconditions, and maintains equipment and components to ensure they meet company standards.Prepares inspection and appraisal reports.Completely understand the operation, function, specifications, capabilities, and controls of any piece of rental equipmentCompletes all documents associated with repairs in an accurate and timely manner.Adhere to manager’s and lead mechanic’s directions regarding all repairs and service calls.Adheres to all safety rules and maintains quality housekeeping in the work area. Qualifications Required: High School Diploma or GED.5 years or more experience with diesel equipment repairValid Driver’s License.Must have required shop hand tools.
