**Now Hiring Field Service Technician** **$60k-$70k** **DOE - 60% Travel around the Midwest** **Job Description** We specialize in building products designed for the rigorous demands of the fertilizer industry. This includes blenders/mixers, bucket elevators, conveyors, and rotary drums. As a Field Service Technician, you will diagnose, adjust, and repair fertilizer equipment such as drag conveyors, elevator legs, blenders, valves, floor, and tower components. You will primarily serve local co-ops and farm land clients. **Responsibilities** + Adjust and maintain equipment as necessary. + Operate and inspect equipment to diagnose issues. + Examine equipment for damage or excessive wear. + Repair and troubleshoot air systems. + Mig weld broken parts. + Test equipment to ensure it is operating correctly. + Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance on equipment. + Log and keep equipment service records. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Shift:** Mon-Thur 5:30am-2:30pm and Fri 5:30-9:30am with OT after the shift on Fri, as needed **Qualifications** + Ability to stand, walk, and use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls regularly. + Ability to climb stairs and ladders. + Ability to talk or hear frequently. + Ability to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl occasionally. + Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds regularly. + Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. + Welding experience and strong mechanical skills. + Ability to travel a minimum of 60%, varying seasonally. + Ability to perform work at customer's location. + Ability to operate company vehicle and maintain a clean driving record. + Adherence to all DOT regulations, including passing a DOT physical, and annual and random drug testing. + Ability to climb stairs and ladders to reach work areas and be comfortable working at heights. **Why Work Here?** We offer a dynamic and supportive work environment that values your growth and development.
