What You'll Do

Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, maintain and calibrate a basic range of clinical equipment, devices, systems and instruments. 

Interact on a routine basis with clinical health providers in the identification of technology-based problems and solutionsSolve organization-level customer service issues and complaintsPrepare required documentation and reportsEnsure regulatory complianceFinancial responsibility for purchasing parts and serviceDemonstrate a safety mindset Provide advanced support of equipment for direct patient care What We Offer

What You Bring

We are seeking solution-oriented candidates who excel at customer service with proven success as a Biomedical Equipment Technician 1 (BMET). Sodexo’s BMET professionals have:

 

 Formal training and preferred experience servicing clinical equipment

Experience in a healthcare facility or healthcare settingExperience effectively repairing, maintaining and calibrating clinical devices such as: Infusion pumps, Defibrillator's, Patient Monitoring, Electro-surgery Units, Endoscopic Surgery Equipment, Nurse-Call, Neonatal Warmers, and IV Pumps.Proactive thinking skills to troubleshootStrong customer service skills; ability to provide world-class service to healthcare customers

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic, biomedical engineering or a discipline geared toward managing maintaining and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare environment and/or equivalent of military BMET program and/or AAMI certified
