GFL Environmental is looking for a Supervisor to help lead the growing team in HRM, NS! Providing innovative methods of cleaning, inspection and trenchless rehabilitation of underground pipes. Our clients range from residential homeowners to large construction and engineering companies and Municipalities throughout Atlantic Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

Involved in the planning and execution of Trenchless rehabilitation projectsLead a crew to safety and efficiently execute jobsEnsure safety and project paperwork is maintainedEnsure on-site operations are conducted in accordance with corporate policies and procedures within permit conditions and to customer specificationsSupervise daily activities to ensure project targets are metAssist with Estimating project costs for tender purposesAssist with Develop and execute work plans aimed at keeping projects on schedule and on budgetAssist with project planning and scheduling under guidance of managerTrenchless repairs of underground infrastructure.Maintain trucks and equipment in order to provide efficient operation.Operate required equipment including compressors and other equipment as required.Create and sustain working relationship with coworkers, contractors and municipal inspectors.Comply with and follow company safety policies and procedures.

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:

Valid Class 5 license is requiredClass 3 license an assetMust have experience in one of the following: Robotic Cutting, Spot repairs, manhole rehabilitation, lateral lining, grouting, CIPP Lining, UV Lining, Fold and Form LiningSupervisory experience an assetMechanical inclinationNASSCO PACP Certification an asset.Confined Space Experience.Display flexibility and confidentiality.Highly driven, focused and self-motivated.Must work well in a team environment.Overnight Weekday travel in company vehicle up to 50% of the time.10-12 hour shifts
