Primary Purpose \n
Provide on-site supervision of equipment and personnel in a safe and conscientious manner providing value and customer satisfaction to internal and external customers.\n
Essential Functions and Responsibilities \n\nEnsures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.\nSupervises the site crew to ensure that work is performed according to consultant and client specifications; operates each job in the most efficient manner possible.\nOversees the safety of the crew to ensure that workers are wearing proper safety equipment and utilizing safe work practices.\nKeeps client informed of job progress; answers client on-site questions and maintains good client relations.\nCompletes daily paperwork to track labor, equipment, supplies and materials used for billing purposes and other associated paperwork; keeps project manager apprised of changes in usage from contract.\nFills in for any crew position as needed.\nSupervises emergency response crews when needed.\nMay participate in hiring, performance evaluation, disciplining, promotion and termination decisions.\n\n

Education: High School Diploma or its equivalent required.\n
Experience: Minimum three years hazardous waste field experience required.\n
Knowledge and Abilities: This is a safety sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function.
Must meet DOT requirements. Good knowledge and understanding of various federal, state and local industry-related regulations. Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with internal and external contacts. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.\n
