Field Support Representative

Summary: Goldbelt Nisga’a TEK is looking for Field Support Representatives (FSRs) to support the United States Coast Guard (USCG). Responsibilities Essential Job Functions: The Field Support Representatives (FSRs) will provide support services for the Electronic and Information Technology systems installed on USCG NSCs on site at NSC home ports. Primary support capabilities will be for the CGC2 system encompassing the Classified Network and the Classified equipment and software that implement the CGC2 system. Secondary support capabilities will be for all electronic equipment that interfaces with the CGC2 system. Foreign travel may be required. Perform other duties as needed. #CJ Qualifications Necessary Skills and Knowledge: Possess expert knowledge of the CGC2 system (preferred) and troubleshooting C5I and electronic systems (preferred) or equivalent knowledge of these two systems. 3.3.1.2 Contractor key personnel shall have general knowledge or technical capability to work with: (1) Navy Type Electronic Systems (preferred); (2) AN/SPS-75 (Airbus TRS-3D) Radar (preferred); and (3) All electronic sensors feeding data to CGC2 (preferred); or equivalent knowledge of these systems/radars/sensors. Install software images, patches, and Information Assurance updates and (2) Troubleshoot issues with the software and hardware components of CGC2 (preferred), or equivalent knowledge. Skill in working harmoniously within cross-functional teams to achieve common objectives Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines. Possesses attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of experience working on the NSC CGC2 system (preferred) or an equivalent system. Shall be capable of riding aboard NSCs during underway periods as needed (with COR approval). Shall have a valid passport and the contractor shall facilitate any/all required visas. Must be a US citizen. Have current/active Secret Personnel Clearances (PCL). Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
