**Job Title: Field Technician** **Job Description** As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for the startup of HVAC units, performing preventive maintenance, and installing sheet metal. Your duties will include changing filters, belts, and performing visual and audio inspections. You will work with basic hand tools such as a hammer and cordless drill, select appropriate materials, and cut, bend, and shape sheet metal to required dimensions. **Responsibilities** + Startup of HVAC units + Perform preventive maintenance including changing filters and belts + Test HVAC units through visual and audio inspections + Install sheet metal using basic hand tools + Select appropriate materials based on strength requirements + Cut, bend, and shape sheet metal to required dimensions + Measure, cut, and weld pieces together according to specifications or blueprints + Connect pieces or secure seams by riveting, rolling, soldering, or using steel screws + Perform assigned work on assembly lines such as punching holes for screws or bending gutters **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of experience in installing sheet metal and HVAC systems + Experience in or interest in learning HVAC startup, including changing filters and belts, and testing units + Ability to install sheet metal + Experience with commercial and industrial work + Own basic hand tools **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Preferred: experience with brazing + Preferred: additional experience with sheet metal **Why Work Here?** This is a long-term opportunity with a growing company located in downtown Cleveland. This role involves working with hand tools and performing physical tasks related to HVAC and sheet metal installation. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cleveland, Ohio. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr.
