US Energy Group (a Power-Flo Technologies company) is a well-established building control system business. We are now hiring a full-time Field Technician. Be part of a rapidly expanding business in an ever-growing market sector! 

Field Technician Responsibilities :

On-site installations (boiler controls)On-site troubleshooting controller boxesInternet configuration (all boilers are connected to the internet)Product supportCustomer relations

Field Technician Qualifications :

At least 1 year of experience with building management systems OR 2 years of experience in technical field workFamiliarity with boiler control wiring, low voltage cabling, and working knowledge of conduit, fittings, and line voltage wiring.The desire to learn and develop a deep knowledge of Building Automation Systems using advanced products of a major automation system manufacturerThe desire for continued career development, product knowledge, varied industry experienceGood communication and customer relationship skillsAbility to use hand tools and power toolsAbility to work on a team under the direction of senior engineers and managersA valid and clean NYS driver's license to drive company vehiclesOSHA 30 or 40 training a plus

New job specific skills will be taught with on-the-job experience.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding.Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a time

The customers we support include large and small commercial facilities, hotels, hospitals, multi-family residential, schools and many others. Work is primarily in the NY City Metropolitan area and we are actively developing customers in other cities.
