**Job Title: Field Technician** **Job Description** Contractors will visit current customer sites to install a CO2 monitor onsite. This involves light low voltage work similar to installing fire alarms. This position has opened due to new regulations regarding CO2. The role entails installing monitors directly to systems in commercial areas using CAT 5 cabling. Contractors will not be working in residential areas. **Responsibilities** + Visit customer sites to install CO2 monitors. + Perform light low voltage work similar to fire alarm installations. + Install monitors using CAT 5 cabling. + Work independently in commercial areas, not residential. + Document installations using a smartphone for GPS and taking pictures. + Document mileage and expenses appropriately. + Interface with customers and explain the purpose of the visit. **Essential Skills** + 2 years of experience in light construction, mechanical, or electrical work. + Experience with low voltage or light electrical work. + Ability to use a smartphone for GPS, taking pictures, and documenting work. + Reliable transportation capable of traveling 400 miles a week. + Possession of necessary tools and a ladder. + Ability to interface with customers politely and effectively. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + No formal education required. + No certifications needed. + Experience driving for work is helpful. + Handy DIY skills are a plus. **Why Work Here?** This position offers a high level of independence and responsibility.
