Job Title: Field Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Technician to join our team. The Field Technician will be responsible for installing, repairing, and troubleshooting liquid Bulk CO2 tanks and beverage gas systems. This role requires adherence to company safety and operational policies, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality service to customers.

ResponsibilitiesFollow all company safety and operational policies, procedures, and directives from the supervisor.Maintain telephone communication with the supervisor and/or dispatch to communicate timely ETA’s and completion of calls/work.Perform installations of CO2 gas detection systems and associated cabling.Test and troubleshoot issues with network communication.Conduct thorough inspections of cable lines to ensure the system is working correctly.Pull, route, or label CAT5 or CAT6 cable, and use a ladder where necessary to run cabling.Communicate and collaborate with other members of the field service team to resolve complex issues.Provide high-quality service to all customers.Verify current inventory levels versus install schedule and communicate deficiencies with the supervisor.Maintain proper operation of all equipment, tools, ladders, etc.Maintain sufficient inventory levels of all parts.Provide daily communication to the assigned supervisor.Essential SkillsExperience running network cabling.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret established technical procedures or governmental regulations.Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Good verbal and written communication skills.Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.Basic Microsoft Office products computer skills.Basic electronic knowledge.Strong mechanical ability.Additional Skills & QualificationsClean driving record that meets Safety’s point system.Previous experience in plumbing and cable installation (preferred).Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, peers, and customers in a professional and courteous manner.Integrity in all aspects of the job.Willingness and enthusiasm for accepting responsibility and accountability; an “ownership mentality”.Strong problem-solving ability and work ethic.Ability to work independently.Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity.Achievement/results driven.Ability to foster strong relationships with colleagues and customers.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment requires the use of a smartphone, personal ladder, basic hand tools, and a drill. You must have your own vehicle and be willing to drive to multiple client sites each day (typically 5-10 locations). The project involves installing new CO2 monitors at existing customer sites, with each installation taking about 20 minutes or less using hand tools and a drill. The project is set to start on 2/1/2025 and last for 6-8 weeks, with the potential for a full-time position based on performance.

This is a Contract position based out of NA, Alabama.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00
