**Job Title: Field Technician**
**Job Description**
Contractors will visit current customer sites to install CO2 monitors onsite. This involves light low voltage work similar to installing fire alarms. The position is available due to new regulations passed on CO2. You will be installing monitors directly to the systems using CAT 5 cabling. Work will be conducted in commercial areas, including restaurants and gas stations, but not in residential areas.
**Responsibilities**
+ Install CO2 monitors at various commercial sites
+ Use CAT 5 cabling for installations
+ Communicate politely with customers and explain the purpose of the installation
+ Document installations and locations using a smartphone
+ Drive to various customer sites throughout the week
+ Maintain accurate records of mileage and expenses
+ Work independently with minimal supervision
+ Attend a brief training session
**Essential Skills**
+ 2 years of experience in light construction, mechanical, or electrical work
+ Basic knowledge of wiring and electrical systems
+ Experience with low voltage or light electrical work
+ Ability to use a smartphone for GPS and documentation
+ Reliable transportation capable of covering 400 miles a week
+ Ability to work independently and document work accurately

+ Experience driving for work
+ Handy with DIY skills
+ No specific education or certifications required

**Work Environment**
You will work independently, visiting various customer sites each day. The role requires you to meet at the shop before heading out to job sites. The position involves minimal supervision, so honesty and effort are crucial. Working hours are from 7am to 4pm, totaling 40 hours per week.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Waxahachie, Texas.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
