**Job Purpose** **:** This role is responsible for installing and maintaining Tower Premise Equipment and occasional Customer Equipment. **Essential Functions** **:** + Climb towers to access components using safety equipment, such as full-body harnesses. + Perform maintenance or repair work on existing tower equipment using hand or power tools. + Assess what equipment would be needed to complete a customer installation based on the specific constraints (e.g., physical characteristics of the location, demarcation point to customer equipment, power access, cable run locations, etc.) + Determine mounting locations according to prints and summaries in ESS. + Termination of various cables + Configuration of Telecommunication equipment + Basic troubleshooting of Telecommunication equipment + Alignment of antenna for optimal signal + Call the office to confirm with Engineering that the signal is live and the customer is satisfied with the installation and service. + Manage contractors and communicate job/project duties. **Education** **:** Four years of High School or equivalent **Relevant Work Experience** **:** 0 to 2 years in related field **Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities** **:** + Must possess excellent customer service skills + Must possess strong communications skills, both verbal and written and have excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Products + Highly organized and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment + Ability to work long hours and weekends (when required) + Clean driving record and a valid driver's license are required. + Ability to lift 50 lbs. **Supervisory Responsibility** **:** This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities _We were made aware of an employment scam in which a third-party is creating false communications under the altafiber name.
