ResponsibilitiesTransport and replace equipment as neededConduct internal testing for engineering purposesCreate daily reports on tickets and schedule preventative maintenance visitsExecute Linux commands to gather debug information when necessaryIdentify root causes of problems and repair themSchedule visits during operating hoursProvide customer support, including troubleshooting and quick response site visitsEssential SkillsProficiency in software, hardware, and testingExperience with troubleshooting and maintenanceAbility to execute Linux commands and debuggingMechanical and electrical skillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsAbility to troubleshoot problemsImprovisation skills for field issuesNote-taking and ticketing system proficiencyAssertiveness in finding and reporting issuesCapability to drive a full-sized vanPhysical ability to push or lift 40 pounds, load a vehicle, or change a flat tireMechanically inclinedTeam-orientedGood communication skillsFlexible schedule and willingness to travel within a 30-mile rangeAbility to perform live equipment demos to various group sizesMust pass federal school clearance requirements, including fingerprintingWork Environment

This position involves conducting fieldwork to test robots under various conditions. You must be comfortable working outside in all seasons. The robotics industry is rapidly growing in the Pittsburgh area, providing an exciting and dynamic work environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00
