Job Title: Field Test EngineerJob Description We are seeking a dedicated Field Test Engineer to join our team. This role involves hands-on work with cutting-edge robotics technology, performing field tests, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Responsibilities + Transport and replace equipment as needed + Conduct internal testing for engineering purposes + Create daily reports on tickets and schedule preventative maintenance visits + Execute Linux commands to gather debug information when necessary + Identify root causes of problems and repair them + Schedule visits during operating hours + Provide customer support, including troubleshooting and quick response site visits Essential Skills + Proficiency in software, hardware, and testing + Experience with troubleshooting and maintenance + Ability to execute Linux commands and debugging + Mechanical and electrical skills Additional Skills & Qualifications + Ability to troubleshoot problems + Improvisation skills for field issues + Note-taking and ticketing system proficiency + Assertiveness in finding and reporting issues + Capability to drive a full-sized van + Physical ability to push or lift 40 pounds, load a vehicle, or change a flat tire + Mechanically inclined + Team-oriented + Good communication skills + Flexible schedule and willingness to travel within a 30-mile range + Ability to perform live equipment demos to various group sizes + Must pass federal school clearance requirements, including fingerprinting Work Environment This position involves conducting fieldwork to test robots under various conditions.
