Position Overview
The Field Training Audiologist will contribute to sales and profitability by providing product and software training designed to increase customer knowledge, skills and familiarity with the ReSound product lines. The position also functions to provide audiological support, which includes hearing aid fitting and troubleshooting assistance, to influence buying behavior change from our customers. This position also includes providing audiology, technical and product training to ReSound employees.

The areas of responsibilities include:
Regularly communicate pertinent account information to sales and management personnelDeliver high quality and consistent customer trainingSupport sales of all products within specified geography; work closely with assigned sales teamsNeeds analysis and provide appropriate training solutions for accountsRepresent ReSound through participation at national, state and regional meetingsPrimary events include, but are not limited to, the following: Consumer Education Seminars, Open Houses, and CEU Seminars and ongoing “in clinic” product training sessionsPlay key role in promotion and demonstration of products during launch trainingsProvide consultative resources which will help develop the business growthSchedule travel independently and within corporate guidelines that maximizes effectiveness and cost efficiencies while maintaining a full schedule.Maintain appropriate administrative records. This includes maintaining expenses within published corporate guidelines.Interact with Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Product Management, Technical Support and Research & Development to ensure a quality customer experienceContribute to the enrichment and/or development of training contentOther duties as assigned by managementCompetencies (Knowledge and Skills needed for this position.)

Proficient with oral and written communication and with conducting presentations.
Desired Qualifications
Required Education (if necessary):
AuD or PhD in Audiology. Master’s Degree in Audiology considered.Current state license in AudiologyExperience:
Desire at least two years of hearing aid dispensing (post externship)Ability to travel 75% of the time (3-4 days/week average)Travel:

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: Salaried position, Monday-Friday but may have evening requirements at times.
