Position Assignment: Fighter Pilot Subject Matter Expert \(SME\) supporting J\-NEEO at Nellis AFB\.
Lockheed Martin is seeking a Fighter Pilot Subject Matter Expert \(SME\) to work on a team executing efforts on the Modeling, Simulation, and Training environment at the Joint Integrated Training and Tactics Center – Nellis \(JITTC\-N\) to support the U\.S\. Air Force Warfare Center, Joint Simulation Environment \(JSE\) team, at Nellis, NV\. The SME will apply their operational knowledge of Air Force doctrine, aircraft capabilities, and tactics to prepare realistic aircrew training scenarios\. As part of a team that provides on\-site M&S support for the U\.S\. Air Force Warfare Center \(USAFWC\) and Air Combatant Command \(ACC\), the SME will establish and deliver high\-end Advanced Tactics, Training, and Test capability for Government personnel operating under USAFWC/ACC\. The SME will also provide mission execution and support to a broad range of Virtual Test & Training Center \(VTTC\) simulator activities and Joint Simulation Environment \(JSE\), including training combat/tactical warfighters, C4ISR/remote sensing capabilities integration and training, and battle\-space awareness\. Additionally, the SME will assist the Government in expanding centrally managed capabilities beyond Nellis AFB, providing distributed JITTC training support to other Service/Joint partner facilities, including the Distributed Training Center \(DTC\) and the Distributed Mission Operations Center \(DMOC\)\.
Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
• Provide operational knowledge of Air Force doctrine, aircraft capabilities, and tactics to ensure realistic fighter training\.
• Support the planning, development, coordination, and execution of JITTC Operational Training events, including orchestrating scenarios and constructive inputs\.
• Create and modify mission\-planning materials to ensure participants achieve maximum training, and providing constructive and threat generation expertise for operational execution\.
• Troubleshoot issues related to simulation software applications and providing basic support\.
• Supervise small groups of personnel involved in JITTC operations\.
A current active Secret Level Clearance with an investigation completed within the last 5 years is required\.
The selected applicant selected may be required to work rotating shifts, and work in excess of 40 hours per week\.

**Basic Qualifications:**
• A current active Secret Level Clearance with an investigation completed within the last 5 years is required\.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Top Secret/SCI and relevant SAP/SAR Clearance\.
• Must have 14 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field OR 12 years relevant experience with Masters in related field OR equivalent education and 19 years relevant experience\.
• Must have operational air\-to\-air experience\.
• Current or previous experience as an Instructor or Evaluator\.
• Strong written and oral communication skills\.
• Must have ability to work flexible schedule to support customer requirements\.
• Work Environment: Position is not eligible for remote work; on\-site support is required\. Must be capable of working morning and evening shifts to accommodate flexible schedule training operations\.
• Physical Requirements Job performance will normally require only minor lifting and carrying of boxes of records or equipment\.
**Desired Skills:**
• Active or current DoD Top Secret/SCI Clearance\.
• Current experience working with DoD programs, specifically 5th Generation fighter experience and tactics\.
• Previous DoD simulation training experience
• Experience working with current Air Force programs, F35/F22 experience a plus\.
**Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\.
**Clearance Level:** Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.
