Description
We are offering an exceptional opportunity for a meticulous File Clerk based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a File Clerk, this role is integral to our operations, and you will be tasked with managing customer applications, maintaining precise customer records, and resolving customer queries. As a File Clerk, you will also monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.
What you get to do every single day:
• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications
• Maintain precise customer credit records
• Distribute incoming mail or email and route incoming calls to the relevant contact point
• Ensure all aspects of security and confidentiality of records and information are upheld
• Oversee the departmental file system and ensure that all documents, including correspondence, receipts, and forms, are correctly labeled and categorized for easy retrieval
• Convert paper files into electronic formats by scanning and digitizing hard copies of documents
• Monitor HCV transactions, client/owner records, and other essential paperwork and ensure that records remain organized and accessible
• Promptly address maintenance and repair needs of office equipment such as computers, printers, fax machines, and scanners by contacting ISM
• Perform any other duties as assigned or required
Requirements
Other requirements for the File Clerk position include and are not limited to:
• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat for managing and editing PDF documents.
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services for payroll and benefits administration.
• Knowledge of A-Systems for accounting and financial management.
• Familiarity with Epic Software for healthcare information systems.
• Ability to operate IBM AS/400 for business computing tasks.
• Experience with About Time for mobile time and attendance tracking.
• Capable of answering inbound calls professionally and efficiently.
• Proficiency in creating charts and graphs for data visualization.
• Ability to perform general clerical duties including photocopying, faxing, mail distribution and filing.
• Experience in drafting and managing correspondence.
