You Are:
The File Transfer Specialist is a critical role responsible for managing and ensuring secure, efficient, and compliant file transfer processes within the organization. This position focuses on handling production support for Axway B2Bi systems and manual file transfer tasks. The role involves using advanced tools such as IPSwitch/WSFTP, UltraEdit, and Sentinel Web Dashboard to monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data transfer operations.
The Opportunity:
· Manage and execute manual file transfers.
· Perform actions like zipping/unzipping, renaming, and preparing data files for user accessibility.
· Use Axway B2Bi, Sentinel Web Dashboard, and CFT for monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting data transfer workflows.
· Ensure all file transfer jobs are completed successfully and resolve any transmission failures promptly.
· Assist in configuring and maintaining file transfer automation tools like IPSwitch/WSFTP to minimize manual intervention while ensuring operational accuracy.
· Notify users of file availability or issues and ensure stakeholders are informed of any delays or disruptions in data transfer processes.
· Manage secure file transfers with adherence to compliance and regulatory requirements.
· Ensure proper handling of sensitive data, especially in line with HIPAA and other healthcare data regulations.
· Regularly update and maintain tools like Axway B2Bi and IPSwitch/WSFTP to ensure peak system performance.
· Coordinate with internal teams to schedule upgrades or address system maintenance needs.
· Maintain detailed records of file transfer activities for auditing and reporting purposes.
· Develop and update SOPs for manual file transfer operations.
· Work closely with teams to understand data requirements and support transfer needs.
· Provide training or guidance to other team members on file transfer processes and tools.

What You Need:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
· Minimum 5+ years of experience in managing file transfers, including manual data handling and automation in healthcare or similar industries.
· Proven expertise in secure file transfer protocols and tools.
· Proficiency in Axway B2Bi, Sentinel Web Dashboard, and CFT for monitoring and troubleshooting file transfer processes.
· Hands-on experience with file management tools like IPSwitch/WSFTP and UltraEdit for configuration and data handling.
· Strong knowledge of scripting and automation using PowerShell or other scripting languages to streamline workflows.
· Familiarity with data management practices such as zip/unzip, file renaming, and data preparation for end-users.
· Experience working with data transfers, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards like HIPAA.
· Strong understanding of healthcare data workflows and integration processes.
· Ability to document processes and create SOPs for manual and automated file transfers.
· Strong troubleshooting skills to identify, analyze, and resolve issues in real-time.
· Experience in root cause analysis and preventive action planning to minimize errors.
· Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to meet data transfer requirements and resolve any challenges.
· High level of accuracy in managing sensitive data transfers and ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.
Role Location: Remote
Compensation Range: $78,000-$118,000

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).
All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
