Job Title: Production Operator
Job Description

As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating all packaging machinery, including Filler, Unscramblers, and Capper Machines. You will make minor adjustments to packaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and quality, continuously inspecting and adjusting as needed. Your role will involve maintaining the flow of production by performing line operations, supporting visual controls, and participating in continuous improvement programs. Additionally, you will have the ability to back-up the line leader on the assigned training plan during your shift.

ResponsibilitiesSet-up and operate packaging machinery including Filler, Unscramblers, and Capper Machines.Make minor adjustments to all packaging equipment to ensure proper operation.Monitor and adjust capping machines to ensure correct cap placement.Continuously inspect product quality and make necessary adjustments or escalate issues.Maintain flow of production by performing any line operations as needed.Support visual controls program and other continuous improvement initiatives.Participate in continuous improvement programs.Back-up line leader on assigned training plan during shift.Essential SkillsExperience as a Filler Machine Operator.Experience with liquid filling processes.Forklift operation experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with filling machines and packaging.Experience with chemical mixing.Experience with set-up and changeover processes.Experience in a liquid filling company.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

You will work in a chemical company that formulates automotive additives for vehicles and trucks. The work environment includes operating filling machines and handling chemical products. The shift is Monday to Friday from 10:55pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicago, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.28 - $24.28
