Job Description
We are seeking dedicated Filler Operators to join our team. This role involves operating filling and packaging equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring product quality. You will play a critical role in our production process, working either the 5pm-5am shift or the 5am-5pm shift.
ResponsibilitiesOperate filling and packaging equipment, including completing daily and weekly preventative maintenance.Adjust and align primary functions of the machinery.Make minor mechanical repairs and replace defective parts.Set up jobs on machines by feeding containers onto conveyor lines and inputting product data into computer systems.Conduct quality audits to ensure maximum and minimum fill lines are met.Assist in packing and production at the end of each line.Stop machines and disassemble them for Clean in Place (CIP) procedures, which may involve getting wet.Maintain compliance with GMP and HACCP/FDA regulations, including maintaining daily production records and quality reports.Assist in training production assistants on GMP and safety rules.Essential SkillsExperience as a Machine Operator, Packaging Operator, Filler Operator, or in Food Manufacturing.Knowledge of GMP and HACCP regulations.Mechanical aptitude and ability to make minor repairs.Additional Skills & QualificationsAt least 3 years of recent experience in a mechanical role (e.g., diesel mechanic, automotive mechanic, mechanical assembler, or maintenance).Experience with hand tools and attention to detail.Prior food manufacturing or machine operating experience is preferred.Why Work Here?Employees are eligible for benefits from day one, including two medical options, two dental options, and vision coverage.401k with company match up to 4% and profit sharing.Additional benefits include prescription coverage, teledoc service, EAP program, Accident Insurance, Critical Illness, and Legal Shield.Company-paid basic life insurance (two times annual salary) with optional Supplemental Life insurance.Company covers premiums for short-term and long-term disability benefits.Bi-weekly pay with premiums and elected benefits deducted from the paycheck.Career progression opportunities, with internal postings for preferred day shifts and various lead and office positions filled internally.Employee recognition through programs such as Employee of the Month and company events including picnics and food trucks.Work Environment
This role is in the loudest part of the facility, with food processing platforms creating a constant hum. Hearing protection is required. The area can get very warm during the summer and has strong odors from sauce-based food products. Training can be scheduled Monday to Friday on 1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts, or 5pm-5am shifts, based on availability. Orientation takes place every Tuesday at 10 am and lasts about three days.

The pay range for this position is $20.48 - $22.48
