**Job Title: Machine Operator**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our team. In this role, you will set up, operate, and maintain filling machines, perform quality checks, and ensure compliance with food safety protocols. The position offers opportunities for long-term growth and career advancement.
**Responsibilities**
+ Set up, operate, and maintain filling machine.
+ Perform and record quality checks to ensure shelf-life integrity and package quality.
+ Perform nominal maintenance on equipment.
+ Perform and document CIP’s and in-process sanitation on equipment and/or area as needed.
+ Ensure food safety and quality protocols are followed.
+ Ensure all Safety and GMP regulations are followed at all times.
+ Utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, face shields, hearing protection, safety shoes, gloves, and aprons.
+ Provide coverage in the absence of other Machine Operators.
+ Input redzone codes in an accurate and timely manner.
+ Other duties as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ Ability to work with moderate supervision, be detail-oriented, and exercise independent organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
+ Strong interpersonal communication skills including the ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
+ Strong basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) and the ability to read charts and monitors.
+ Ability to multitask.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Ability to push up to 300 pounds and pull up to 500 pounds with mechanical assistance.
+ Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds frequently. For items over 50 pounds or awkward items, two or more employees will lift and/or carry using the buddy system.

**Work Environment**
Fast-paced food production environment. You will monitor the packaging line and products that just came out of the packaging machine. Be prepared for strong odors/smells and the ability to stand for 12+ hours. Steel toe boots are required for all production and warehouse positions. Available shifts include front half nights: every other Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday from 6pm to 6:30am.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tualatin, Oregon.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50/hr.
