Scope of Responsibilities: Works under direct supervision and accurately fills medication orders.

 

Job Summary: Responsible for packaging medication orders per directions on prescription label.  Ensure product is accurate and neatly packaged.  Assist in inventory control, including handling credits and restocking inventory.

Responsibilities

Job Duties:

Count, seal and label prescription cardsPull drugs and match NDC to prescription labelsReturn inventory to proper placeResponsible to assist in the upkeep and cleanliness of each work station and the facilityResponsible for the proper and accurate filling of each individual orderMaintain and keep reasonable production as determined by supervisorResponsible to maintain all quality assurances as they are givenAssist in keeping adequate stocking levelsMust have knowledge of RX computer systemResponsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programsPerform other duties as assigned Qualifications

Attendance Requirements:

Must be able to work nights and weekends as required Must be available, and on-time for scheduled work shifts

 

Educational Requirements:

Minimum: High School Diploma or GEDPreferred: AS Degree or Higher in Business Administration or related field

 

Experience: 

Preferred hospital or retail pharmacy experience preferred

 

Required (Vermont Employees):

Registered  with the State of Vermont as a Pharmacy Technician

 

Required (New Hampshire Employees):

Registered  with the State of New Hampshire as a Pharmacy Technician

 

Required (Ohio Employees Only):

Registered with the State of Ohio as a Pharmacy Technician

 

Special Conditions of Employment:

Drug testInitial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoringAny and all additional eligibility requirements based on the specific position

 

Compensation:

 

$12.88 - $16.84 an hour

 

The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience and education.
