**APPLY TO START IMMEDIATELY** **Job Title: Filling Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a detail-oriented Filling Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating filling equipment, ensuring quality control, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. **Responsibilities** + Follow operating procedures, including safety rules, PPE requirements, and SDS’s. + Fill orders based on the information on the fill ticket. + Fill out requisitions for raw materials and non-inventory items. + Perform inventory cycle counts. + Weigh and heat materials as needed. + Operate equipment such as computers, scales, mixers (Hobart, Air Mixer), paint shaker, large 30-gallon roller, and ovens. + Operate BiPak/QuickPouch equipment and print labels to complete orders using Semmatic/Nordon dispensing equipment. + Conduct quality in-process inspections of materials. + Perform required maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of machinery (scales, mixers, etc.). + Perform other related duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Experience with mixers, scales, and chemicals. + Ability to perform setup, mixing, filling, operation, and troubleshooting of filling equipment used to fill bulk/BiPak orders. + Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at times. + Ability to work collaboratively as a team player. + Ability to accept direction and supervision while making independent decisions. + High levels of personal and professional integrity. + Meticulous, neat, and precise work habits. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Prolonged periods of sitting and standing. **Why Work Here?** Join a supportive and collaborative team where you can develop your skills and grow professionally. The work involves operating various equipment and machinery in a production environment. The role requires adherence to safety protocols, including wearing PPE. Prolonged periods of sitting and standing are expected, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds is necessary. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Cranston, Rhode Island. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
