The Fin Solutions Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.

Responsibilities:

Contributes to the design, roll-out and governance of financial solutions, including:Participates in formulating and setting strategic direction for the process, organization and operating model covering Finance across Citi businesses, products, functions and locationsPlays a part in setting and operating necessary forums and frameworks to establish and govern policies and strategies for global Finance processesParticipates in assessing and incorporating changing business, regulatory and market information needs into finance processes and applicationsActs as a technical expert who acts as an advisor on significant business/product decisionsImplements policies and proceduresPerforms other duties and functions as assignedHas the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervisionCan exercise independence of judgement and autonomyActs as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team membersAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

6-10+ years of relevant experience, within the financial services industry preferredRequires communication and diplomacy skills in order to guide and influence othersExperience and demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a complex and dynamic environmentSelf-motivated with the ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructionsAdvanced Microsoft Office skillsAdvanced writing and presentation skillsIn depth knowledge of banking products / systems preferred
