About the team:The team is responsible for leading and managing projects focused on process improvements, new product introductions, and technology upgrades, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery. By analyzing data, implementing corrective actions, and optimizing manufacturing processes, the team enhances efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance. Additionally, they foster a culture of continuous improvement, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate across functions to resolve issues and drive innovation.
What you can look forward to as a Process Engineer: Lead and manage projects related to process improvements, new product introductions, and technology upgrades. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget. Acquire and analyze data to define problems and determine the results of changes and provide technical support to production teams to resolve process-related issues. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address process failures and solve acute and chronic equipment reliability issues using physics, engineering principles, and technology. Implement and maintain quality control systems to achieve zero-defect production. Develop and implement optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards. Continuously improve production processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of processes, including PFMEA, control plans, work instructions, process flow diagrams, and standard operating procedures. Generate reports on process performance, project status, and improvement initiatives. Complete small to large-scale projects designed to eliminate waste in a timely manner. Work closely with design, production, and quality teams to ensure seamless integration of new processes. Perform other duties as assigned. Your profile as a Process Engineer: Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering field 5+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Capable of reading mechanical CAD drawings with an understanding of drafting principles Familiarity with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality standards and experience with Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen techniques Proven ability to lead and manage projects related to process improvements, new product introductions, and technology upgrades Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams to meet project milestones on time and within budget Capable of reading electrical schematics and knowledge of electrical systems, with a preference for Rockwell, Siemens, and other control systems.
