Final Assembly Team Lead

We are looking for a Final Assembly Team Lead based in our Hingham, MA location.

Position Overview

The Team Lead will report directly to the Final Assembly Production Supervisor. The Team Lead will assist with the build and assembling of Bypasses and ATS products, including all mechanical and electrical components. This role requires leadership, organization, planning, and motivational skills. The Team Lead will work closely with the Production Supervisor and cross-functionally with other departments to adhere to business operation deadlines and customer commitments to achieve delivery reliability.

Responsibilities: Ensure safety is priority for team members on the production floor. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Maintain a clean and organized work environment (5S methodology), promoting a culture of safety and efficiency. Lead the final assembly team to ensure efficient and timely completion of assembly tasks. Working closely with supervisors on production planning to align with targets and goals. Schedule adherence – Plan and prioritize workload according to schedule to meet deadlines and on time delivery. Engage and work closely with supervisors on managing workload and personnel allocation to appropriate jobs. Ensures quality inspections are done for completion of jobs. Update WIP tracker to manage visibility to our output requirements. Track and communicate material shortages in a timely manner to ensure minimum impact to production schedule. Attend stand up meetings to communicate team deliverables and maintain targets. Clearing quality issues and working together with QC inspectors to correct any issues preventing jobs going to shipping. Train and coach team members to deliver to team targets and objectives. Train and mentor team members, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance. Ability to learn and review production data on SAP and transact jobs which are completed within the department. Engage and work closely with supervisor on holiday planning and overtime for the team. Work with ME teams on ensuring workstations have the sufficient tools. Champion and environment of collaboration and focus on achieving results within the team and across peer groups. 50% direct labor – mechanical and electrical assembly 50% indirect labor – assigning resource allocations, delegating tasks to team members, reviewing engineering schematics, participating in stand-up and pass-down meetings. Basic Qualifications:

2+ years professional experience in a manufacturing and 1+ years in people management Associate’s degree in engineering or Trade School certification (or equivalent experience) Ability to read engineering wiring/mechanical schematics Effective written/verbal communication. Use of MS Office programs including outlook, word, excel and PowerPoint Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship Preferred Qualifications 5S/Lean Manufacturing SAP Experience Forklift certified (or willing to get certification) You’ll benefit from: Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to our employees. Over time will be required depending on business needs.
