Summary: Seeking a Final Line Mechanic I to assemble, install, and adjust aircraft structure parts and system components for a 12-month duration.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
1 year aerospace/aviation experience or equivalent mechanical experience (auto mechanics, heavy equipment, etc.); A&P license may offset the one year of experience
Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams
Proficiency in using tools required for the job
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Solumina and Smarteam
Job Responsibilities:
Assemble, install, and adjust aircraft structure parts and system components
Rig control cables, sectors, linkages, control surfaces, landing gear and doors, engines, cowls, aircraft entry doors
Perform basic repairs including removing/replacing linkage and components; cutting/fitting system lines
Ensure quality and efficiency of all installations; perform necessary rework to meet conformity requirements
Install system lines, valves, ducts ensuring leak-free systems
Use various tools including permaswage pumps, dies, line cutting tools
Update and sign required logs such as MIR sheets, DMTs
Support continuous improvement processes
Pay Details: $19.00 to $23.00 per hour
