Minimum Required Experiences
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills8 years accounting work experience5+ years experience with capital markets products and accounting, including derivatives and hedge accountingLicensed Certified Public Accountant7+ years of operational accounting experienceDesired Experiences
Master's degree in Accounting or Finance5+ years managing operational accounting teamsSkilled in managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, and vendors, building relationship networks, etc.Ability to develop a solid understanding of Fannie Mae’s business model with the ability to explain financial results in a meaningful way; Extensive knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting systems; experience with process automation and using accounting software such as Workiva and/or Workday (preferred)Demonstrated ability to think beyond the numbers, connecting financial data to business outcomes and anticipating future needs.Additional InformationThe future is what you make it to be.
