Finance/Accounting Manager Details:

Direct Hire position$90,000.00 to $120,000.00 /annuallyFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)Ensures the accuracy and timeliness of accounting and financial management information.Will develop cost accounting detail and requisite reporting to provide accurate information to Operations and Management to manage costs and drive improvement.Work with the Finance Team, Internal Departments and External Agencies to manage payments and ensure compliance (Workers Comp, Tax Reporting, Payroll Administration, Benefits Administration)Management and oversight of full cycle reporting for the Company’s local Facility.Management of Plant finance systems including A/R, A/P, Inventory and cash managementOversees invoicing, sets up new accounts, reconciles assigned B/S accounts.Reconciles bank accounts daily, verifies deposits, and addresses inquiries from banks.Bi-weekly A/R reporting to management on all credit customer accounts.Ensures vendor invoices are processed timely, 3-way match adherence and payments are charged to the appropriate accounts.Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit.Processes payroll bi-weekly as well as all the associated payroll reporting; monthly vacation reconciliations and accruals completed.Raw material and scrap tracking for billing purposes.Performs other related duties as assigned.

Finance/Accounting Manager Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related discipline preferred.An accounting certification (CPA or CMA) would be beneficial.Minimum of Seven (7) years of accounting experience required.Experience in Finance Management in a Manufacturing Environment is a decided asset.Willingness to travel < 3 days a month to other facilitiesSound knowledge, experience and training in general financial accounting and cost accounting.Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.Highly proficient with accounting software.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability and willingness to work hands on as part of a diverse Team in a fast moving, challenging, manufacturing environmentProficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
