Finance & Admin Superintendent
Overview

Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a Finance & Admin Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing the financial and administrative functions within an organization operating in Rustenburg, Northwest. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial expertise, excellent analytical skills, and an in-depth understanding of administrative processes. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage budgets, financial reporting, and administration, while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Key responsibilities:

1. Financial Management:
– Monitor and manage financial activities, including budget preparation, forecasting, and reporting.
– Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting principles and guidelines.
– Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to minimize financial risk and support financial decision-making.
– Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate billing and payments.
– Prepare financial analysis and provide recommendations for improving financial performance and profitability.

2. Administration:
– Oversee and manage administrative functions, including office operations, facilities management, and inventory control.
– Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
– Manage vendor contracts and relationships, negotiate terms, and monitor service quality.
– Provide administrative support to various departments, including HR, operations, and procurement.

3. Compliance and Reporting:
– Ensure compliance with local, regional, and national regulations, including tax filing and reporting requirements.
– Prepare financial reports as required by management, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
– Liaise with auditors and regulatory agencies during internal and external audits.
– Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for auditing purposes.

4. Team Leadership:
– Provide guidance and leadership to the finance and administrative team, promoting a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
– Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and implement development plans for team members.
– Identify training needs and provide necessary training and development opportunities.

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma
– Valid Certificate of Fitness and First Aid
– Valid driver’s license
– 6 years relevant experience, 2 years managerial experience
– Knowledge of SAP, BPC &MS Office will be advantageous 
– Previous mining experience will be advantageous
– Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
– Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and handle confidential information with discretion.
