Finance Analyst Job ID 185593 Posted 13-Nov-2024 Service line Corporate Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Accounting/Finance Location(s) Richardson - Texas - United States of America **About the Role:** As a CBRE Finance Analyst, you will help support accounting, analysis and reporting activities associated with benefit and compensation programs (an annual spend over $1Bn approx.) for a population of over 115,000 employees (35% US) based in over 70 countries. You'll serve as the finance partner for the People (HR), Total Rewards, Global Benefits and US Payroll organization and support the financial planning and segment-regional-local controllership teams. The ideal candidate must be solution-oriented and be able to communicate effectively across finance and non-finance functions. This job is part of the Financial Strategy and Operations job function. They are responsible for maintaining accounting, financial, and reporting policies and controls. **What You’ll Do:** + Support the accounting and operations for US and Global benefit and compensation programs and its related transactions. + Assist the Compensation and Benefits (as applicable) areas for the monthly close which includes coordinating with Segment Accounting Teams, Business Finance, People Teams, and the Shared Services Organization. + Conduct moderate to complex reconciliations and ensure accuracy and completeness of data flowing thru various stages to ultimately general ledger. + Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports. + Contribute to key accounting projects and deliverables to ensure reporting accuracy and that departmental deadlines are met. + Assist the Compensation and Benefits team in meeting the organization’s internal and external auditors on accounting matters. + Help prepare key internal financial reports; including partnering with Business Finance (Financial Planning) to explain variances. + Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. + Impact the quality of own work. + Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines. + Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding. + Analyze records of present and past operations, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenues, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred to project future revenues and expenses. + Assist in preparation of special studies, analyses, and recommendations in areas such as budgets, forecasts, financial plans, governmental requirements, statistical reports, and business forecasts. + Prepare reports analyzing specific aspects of department structures, functions and operational procedures and recommends ways to improve efficiency and/or effectiveness. **What You’ll Need:** _Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future._ _To perform this job successfully, an individual will need to perform each crucial duty satisfactorily. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. + Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset. + Intermediate math skills.
