Made Possible.** **MISSION / SUMMARY:** Under general guidance of the Plant Controller, the Finance Analyst is responsible for cost accounting activities, financial analysis to assist with performance reporting and business decisions, and overseeing of processes related to inventory management, ensuring conformity with regulatory and company policies and procedures. **JOB FUNCTIONS:** _Job functions include but are not limited to the following_ _._ + Establish and maintain product standard costs, coordinating across multiple functions to verify BOMs, identify production performance standards, along with associated raw material, labor and overhead costs. + Ensure application and compliance of established inventory controls, including reviews and audits of cycle counts, as well as monitoring of aged/obsolete inventories. Review and update local procedures as needed. + Complete monthly close process for assigned activities, including calculation and posting of inventory valuation, cost of goods, special accruals, variance analysis, account reviews, and account reconciliations. + Provide financial analysis of key performance indicators, including presentation of results in business review meetings, to support operational decision-making. + Provide cost and profitability analysis for customers and product lines. + Work closely with Plant Controller to develop monthly financial outlook and annual plan. + Establish and maintain cost control policies and procedures, along with routine and ad hoc reporting, to provide accurate, timely information to support operational decision-making. + Assist in Continuous Improvement/Lean Manufacturing program facilitation, including support and analysis. + Assist in preparation and/or review of financial analyses of proposed capital projects and evaluate the results of completed appropriations. + Acts as site administrator for user security and back up to Plant Controller as IT liaison. + Proactively assist internal and external auditors, as needed, to ensure an efficient and effective audit process. + Participates in balance sheet reviews, self-audits and peer reviews. + Provide training to local team, as needed, to ensure compliance with financial controls and reporting accuracy. + Recommend improvements or streamlining of accounting processes while maintaining accuracy and integrity and satisfying financial controls. + Other duties as assigned. **EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:** + Bachelor’s Degree (Accounting or Finance), advanced accounting degree/certification a plus. + 3 - 5 years of relevant work experience with exposure to cost accounting, general accounting operations, and business analysis within manufacturing operations. **SKILLS:** + Strong analytical and critical thinking skills + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required to collaborate and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and management. + Demonstrated organizational skills (time management, prioritization, multi-tasking) to coordinate varied activities and meet deadlines. + Demonstrated ability to implement creative solutions. Takes initiative and is self-directed. + High level of integrity and detail oriented to ensure accurate reporting of financial data. + Ability to work independently with little or no supervision. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint). + Experience with ERP and MES environments, SAP and QAD preferred. **SCHEDULE DEMANDS:** + Typical schedule consists of an 8-hour M-F assignment, however, employee must be willing to work alternate schedules; that may include early mornings, nights, and/or weekends and be punctual while doing so. + Occasional overnight travel to include flying, driving, riding or by rail. **PHYSICAL DEMANDS:** + Sitting, walking or standing for extended periods of time up to 8-hours. + Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. + Reading computer screen or other electronic devices. + Use of various office equipment, hand and electrical tools or equipment. + Use of Personal Protective Equipment in designated areas (Safety Shoes, Hearing Protection, Hair & Beard Netting). + Occasional working in various temperatures & humidity levels depending on building & department (not all areas are temperature controlled throughout facilities). **KEY COMPETENCIES:** + Designing & Managing Work: Customer Focus, Managing & Measuring, Organizing, Planning, Priority Setting, Process Management, Functional/Technical Skills. + Making Things Happen Through Teams: Action Orientation, Conflict Management, Confronting Direct Reports, Delegation, Directing Others, Listening, Motivating Others, Drive for Results, Sizing Up People, Building Effective Teams. + Being A Strong Role Model & Leader: Integrity, Ethics & Values, Action Oriented, Timely Decision Making, Decision Quality, Problem Solving, Standing Alone. **Pay Range:** **$55,800.00** - **$93,000.00** **Graphic Packaging is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
