Finance Analyst - Hilton Waikoloa Village

The Hilton Waikoloa Village is looking for its next Finance Analyst Clerk to join their team! This is a perfect opportunity for someone that has experience in accounting and wants to grow within the hospitality industry.

\n\nClassification:  Full Time\nShifts:  Monday to Friday, required to work two Sundays of the month for payroll purposes\nHourly pay range:  $25 to $25\n\n

The ideal candidate for this position should have a minimum of two years of finance experience, preferably in the hotel industry, possess strong Excel skills, and demonstrate flexibility with scheduling. Local candidates are highly preferred.

What will I be doing?

\n

The Analyst / Clerk of Accounting will perform activities to support the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll and General Accounting functions. The Analyst/Clerk will participate in the development and processes of accurate reports and account management. In addition to performance, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company.

\n\nPerform applicable retained Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll and General Accounting functions\nRespond to guest inquiries, charge inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner to support continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability\nCollaborate with SSCs and service provider, as well as partner with SSC to resolve disputes\nParticipate in the production of monthly accounts as directed\nComplete month-end responsibilities\nExecute internal control over revenues, expenses, assets and liabilities of the hotel\nParticipate in special projects, team training and development\nPerform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required\nReports results to others and aids others to understand financial matters\nDevelops and maintains constructive and cooperative working relationships with other finance departments and corporate departments they support\nCollaborates with manager to establish specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize and accomplish project/department goals\nAttends staff meetings pertinent to work assignments\nResearches and responds to information requests from internal departments and management\nAct in accordance with fire, health and safety regulations on property and follow the correct procedures when required\n

What are we looking for?

EDUCATION
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

EXPERIENCE

\n\nPrevious hotel level accounting experience preferred.\nProficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook with the ability to quickly learn new programs required.\nPrevious experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Books, and Payroll highly preferred.\n\n\n
