With the mentorship of Accounting Manager Piyanka Weerasinghe, the intern gets the experience and learn aspects of operational accounting and finance that is general and specific to manufacturing._ **Essential Responsibilities** Assist the accounting/finance team with daily operational activities, including: + Review all current standard operational procedures and update them as needed. + Gaining an understanding for ITTs SOX policies and procedures. + Maintaining and filling documents according to ITTs retention policy. + Assist in the resolution of AP/AR items. + Inventory audits and cost analysis. **Position Requirements** + Currently enrolled in an Accounting or Finance (BS), in good standing (GPA of 3.0 or higher) + Knowledge, understanding of GAAP and relevant accounting regulations. + Solid understanding of accrual accounting. + Knowledge of accounting information systems (SAP/Oracle etc.) + Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. + Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint etc.) **Equal Pay Act Statement** We aim to pay our ‘ITT’ers’ fairly and competitively in the locations that they live and work.
