Finance And Grant Coordinator
Finance and Grant Coordinator Key Responsibilities: + Act as a liaison for third-party accounts payable processor regarding grant allocations. + Reconcile monthly credit card and debit card transactions, resolving discrepancies as needed. + Monitor and evaluate programs funded by grants to ensure compliance. + Maintain organized master files for grants and related documentation. + Assist in annual audit preparation as directed by the Finance Manager. + Collaborate with accounts payable software vendors to enhance processes. + Generate reports related to grant management and auditing. + Process daily mail and manage the petty cash fund. + Perform additional related duties as assigned. Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field. + 3-5 years of experience in finance and accounting, with a strong understanding of GAAP. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail. + Proficiency in financial accounting and cost accounting principles. + Knowledge of grant funding policies and the ability to navigate local, state, and federal funding sources. + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks, and automated accounting software (experience with Bill.com is a plus). + Ability to analyze financial data, prepare budgets, and generate financial grant reports. + Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
