About the Role 

We are looking for a highly motivated Finance Associate to join our growing finance function. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights. As an Associate, you will play a critical role in shaping our GTM strategy by owning numerous aspects of our financial modeling, providing in-depth financial analysis, and supporting strategic decision-making. Applicants should be self-driven, detail oriented, and motivated by the opportunity to drive results-oriented outcomes. Applicants must have strong technical financial modeling abilities, with a proven record of developing and maintaining complex financial models that support strategic decision making and analysis. Applicants will also support multiple business functions, leading and supporting cross-functional projects from inception through execution. Applicants should be excited to work in a fast-paced, high-growth and results-oriented environment where an ownership mentality is encouraged.

Responsibilities Provide analytical support to long-range, annual, and live forecast planning processes for multiple business segments across the company Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting Prepare detailed reports and presentations for executive leadership, highlighting key financial trends and performance metrics Develop analysis across segments to understand trends and identify areas of opportunity and risk What You Bring to the Table 2+ years of relevant work experience - investment banking, private equity, consulting, or high-growth start-up experience Strong financial modeling technical abilities; exceptional analytical skills; high capacity to synthesize data & insights Strong passion and adaptability to learn different parts of the business (even those not in the job description) A proven ability to build strong and collaborative working relationships with business partners at all levels of the organization Self-starter with strong work ethic, initiative, ownership and drive Desire to learn and grow within an organization

Pay Transparency Statement

At Planful our top priority is to support our employees and ensure each individual has access to equal growth opportunities. Pay decisions take into consideration the individual's skillset, experience, knowledge, qualifications for the role, and specific work location.
