The Finance Business Partner, Customer Supply and Development is responsible for both the Controlling and Financial Business Partnering at the Dunmore facility.  The controlling function will provide managers with financial information to enable them to make operational decisions.  This role will also report on evolution versus targets for operation efficiencies, headcount, scrap, rework, material yield, indirect costs, overtime, etc. 

 

 

Key responsibilities include: 

 

Act as a strategic finance business partner to the Plant Manager, delivering valuable financial insights and fostering collaboration to drive operational success. Monitor and evaluate plant performance, providing comprehensive reporting that informs decision-making and enhances accountability across the organization. Play a key role in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring alignment between financial and operational objectives to maximize efficiency and profitability. Support the identification and execution of productivity improvement initiatives, partnering with cross-functional teams to enhance operational effectiveness and achieve shared goals. Ensure the accuracy of inventory management for raw materials, finished goods, and rework processes, collaborating with supply chain and operations teams to maintain optimal inventory levels. Conduct monthly analyses of budget variances related to materials and operating expenses, working closely with stakeholders to provide actionable insights and drive corrective measures. Collaborate with departments on cost-saving initiatives, leveraging financial expertise to identify opportunities and support strategic initiatives that benefit the entire organization. Analyze material variances, including scrap, rework, and yield, partnering with production teams to uncover root causes and implement solutions that improve operational performance. Conduct profitability assessments, investment evaluations, and manufacturing cost analyses, providing critical financial support to guide strategic decisions and investments. Lead the structuring and orientation of the budgeting process in partnership with budget holders, ensuring clarity, accountability, and alignment with business objectives. Deliver short- and mid-term financial forecasts, collaborating with leadership to inform strategic planning and resource allocation. Perform efficiency analyses focused on labor and machine utilization, working with operations to identify improvement opportunities and enhance productivity. Establish and maintain robust internal controls, partnering with compliance and audit teams to ensure financial integrity and risk management. Develop and evaluate investment proposals, collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals and strategic priorities.

 

 

About you:

Bachelor degree in Business Administration and or Finance or Accounting 5-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment Strong management accounting background Experience in Inventory Management SAP Knowledge Experience in budgeting, investment analysis, variance analysis, strategic projects analysis Strong presentation & communication skills Excellent analytical skills Strong personality and leadership, excellent work ethic, very good teamwork spirit Strong technical abilities (Excel, Access, Power Point, Lotus Notes) Food Manufacturing experience preferred

Expected Salary Range: $97K - $125K USD per year
