This is a contingent position based upon contract award

KBR is seeking a highly motivated and career-oriented Finance/Budget Analyst (Intermediate)

to join our team supporting a government client in Virginia.

Key Responsibilities:

Work with technical teams to define scope and acquisition approach for a constant stream of evolving program requirements and external investmentsSupport the lifecycle management of project and programsCommunicate and coordinate daily with several external agency financial and technical points-of-contactEnsure timely and successful funds transfers through various external agency processes to meet mission-critical requirements and fiscal constraintsPrepare and coordinate management approval briefingsPrepare technical evaluations for US Government leadership supporting program controlsParticipate in weekly and monthly contract and programmatic status reviews, and meetingsMonitor contractor programmatic performance and complete custom analysis tasks as requestedAssist with contractual and budget planning to include future competitive acquisitions

Required Qualifications:

An active TS/SCI with current Polygraph is requiredBachelor’s degree in business5+ years of financial management experience supporting programs3+ years of experience supporting customer programsClose client experiences supporting customer needsExperience supporting new and baseline programs supporting the end-to-end program managementFamiliarity and experience with budget planning and acquisition process  Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, quick reaction work environment at the customer locationAbility to efficiently multi-task to ensure continuous health of program funding profilesExcellent verbal and written communications skills

Desired Qualifications:

10+ years supporting a US Government Financial Office directly supporting a USG program officeStrong analysis and quality assessment skills to explain program financial issues clearly and accurately to both technical and non-technical audiencesExperience with successful full life-cycle development project funding profilesFamiliarity with Tableau and/or Customer SW tools used to perform financial systems managementDemonstrated ability to adjust to changing priorities

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
