Finance Business Analyst
Description Position at SBM Management

SBM Management is searching for a Finance Business Analyst to join our team! The Finance Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing financial data, creating reports, and providing insights to help organizations make informed business decisions.

Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Reporting: Gather, analyze, and interpret complex financial data to support business decision-making.Cost Efficiencies: Study and provide creative alternatives to reduce costs & overhead.Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and implement scalable solutions.Business Insights: Partner with stakeholders to identify business opportunities for top & bottom-line improvements.Performance Tracking: Develop and maintain dashboards to track KPIs and financial performance.Financial Modeling: Create detailed financial models to assess business opportunities, risks, and ROI.System Improvements: Work with IT and finance teams to enhance ERP systems and reporting tools.Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, UKG).Advanced skills in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).Knowledge of SQL or Python is a plus.Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (CFA preferred).3–5 years in a similar role, with a strong focus on financial analysis and business strategy.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):Financial Performance Analysis:Deliver monthly financial performance reports with at least 95% accuracy within 3 business days after the close of each reporting period, including actionable insights for cost reduction and revenue growth opportunities.Cost Reduction Initiatives:Identify and implement at least three cost-saving measures per quarter, resulting in a minimum of 10% reduction in targeted overhead expenses annually.Process Improvement Implementation:Develop and implement at least two process optimization solutions within the first six months, reducing financial reporting cycle time by 20% and improving data accuracy for decision-making.Compensation: $150,000 per yearShift: TBDSBM Management Services, LP and its affiliates are proud to be equal opportunity workplaces.
