Job Summary To provide financial guidance and support to the leadership of the Store Development functional areas (“FA”). Administers, designs and implements accounting policies and procedures impacting the Store Development FA. Responsible for the development, analysis and interpretations of statistical and accounting information to appraise the operating results of the functional areas in terms of cost, budgets, policies, trends and increased profit possibilities. Key Responsibilities · Oversee team of analysts and Senior analysts · Manage weekly forecast updates · Manage annual planning process, including creation and presentation of Plan · Advise functional areas leadership on all decisions having a financial impact to the Company, by providing opinions and analyses to support various decisions. · Advise EVP/ SVPs on content of all EC presentations · Based on independent analyses, advise functional areas leadership of trends to point out opportunities/weaknesses in financial performance of functional areas. · Assist in the brainstorming with functional areas leadership on tactics to improve financial performance of the Company. · Ad hoc analyses to assist in the decision-making process. Education and/or Experience · Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent. · Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and public accounting experience preferred · Seven to eight years of work experience · Experience managing and coordinating projects Benefits at AutoZone AutoZone cares about people.
