Role Overview
This is a business facing commercial role, where the individual is required to be working as part of a large team responsible for supporting Audience Measurement, Operations, Media Development & Observer Service Lines plus Askia & Data Liberation. With combined revenues of £100m which employs 400+ permanent employees and 1000+ casual staff.
The main responsibility is helping to produce key financial data and supporting these business areas to manage their financial aspects of all projects.
The role is a challenging and varied one with broad exposure of working with a range of non-finance people and acting as the key point of contact for any financial related matters.
This role offers hybrid working with 3 days a week from our London and Harrow offices and the rest from home.
What will I be doing?
Working closely with the Senior Finance Business Partner to produce and deliver monthly financials. Deputising for the Senior Finance Business Partner as and when required Preparing monthly management accounts, finance packs and key ad-hoc reports for the leadership teams. Supporting with the production of annual budgets and forecasts. Providing financial/systems training and support to project managers. Attending meetings and proactively challenging teams Undertaking financial analysis to drive business performance To take responsibility for job maintenance. Specifically: Manage financial integrity of projects Ensuring project forecasts are up to date Building relationships across the teams to help them manage their financials Reviewing current day to day working practices with a view to enhance. Providing general assistance to staff on financial matters. Ad hoc support to Senior Finance Business Partner.What do I need to bring with me?
Newly/Part Qualified CIMA/ACCA Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both verbally and in writing, especially with non-finance staff and professionals. Attention to detail and a proactive manner in dealing with queries. Ability to multitask to meet monthly deadlines Ability to work independently and as part of a team Organised and methodical Problem solving High degree of competence in the use of Excel Proficient PowerPoint skills Strong relationship building skills Demonstrate a high level of initiativeWhat is in it for me?
