Finance Business Partner Intern

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm 

 

Internship program dates: Monday, June 6 – Friday, August 15 

 

We’re seeking a bright, highly motivated student to join CSC as a Finance Business Partner Intern in our Wilmington, DE office. This program gives current college students the opportunity to enhance their financial acumen and work in a challenging, fast-paced environment. 

 

Our Finance Business Partner Intern will develop and deliver financial KPI reports to a growing enterprise. You will have the opportunity to learn and work with Oracle’s EPM Cloud Planning Software, an integrated tool that can be used to consolidate business unit financials and metrics, ultimately facilitating the delivery of data driven insights and value creation to critical stakeholders. 

 

 

Some of the things you’ll learn from us:  

Understand the lines of CSC businesses and how they interact with each other.  Develop a greater understanding of the Global Capital Markets business in the Americas and economic market forces that impact revenue and expenses.  Become familiar with the many different planning tools that Finance Business Partners utilize daily, including EPM, Salesforce, DOMO, and Excel, among others.  Gain experience in creating financial reports and business unit P&L’s.  Understand the pillars of our mission and be introduced to CSC’s Customer Promise.  

 

What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need? 

Currently attending college, university, or a similar training program.  Graduating or ready for full-time employment within 12 months of August 2024. Coursework in Finance and/or Accounting, or related coursework in Business Analytics with a focus on Finance.  Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint including charts and pivot tables.  Strong desire to deliver proactive value creation through the development of financial data driven insights.  Excellent communication skills.  Strong technical aptitude and desire to learn.  Ability to learn in a fast paced, agile environment.
