In this role, you will:
Prepare and review to assure accuracy and timeliness of monthly financial statements for the South Africa Subsidiary
Build profit and loss and working capital forecasts and the annual budget for South Africa Subsidiary Implement best-in-class financial processes and controls across Hach’s operations.
Perform financial results analysis to identify variations and trends that indicate possible exposures while providing management with insight into the trends and variances on the company financials with the aim of partnering with Country Manager and provi- ding financial leadership to drive company objectives.
Challenges existing processes, systems, reports, data analysis and outputs and implements necessary changes to create a best-in-class control environment.
Develop, coach, manage rewards, set objectives, prepare, and give performance reviews for the local finance team fostering an inclusive workplace and leveraging diversity in all forms.
Are you qualified?
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications, experience, and background to perform effectively in the role:
7+ years’ experience in finance and accounting.
Strong in general accounting, auditing, and financial analysis with good knowledge level of Accounting Standards & US GAAP, being Chartered Accountant is a plus.
Strong understanding of risk assessment and internal controls.
Strong interpersonal skills; able to serve as a business partner.
Understanding of Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment, a plus.
