A Day in Your Life at MKS: As the Controller, Finance Manager in Brazil you will control and manage the accounting and administration functions (related to general ledger, tax accounting, accounts payable, and fixed assets) and to ensure the timely generation of accurate accounting information (in accordance with local GAAP/IFRS) that will help management make daily business decisions. The Controller is responsible for the assets of the Company and must ensure that controls are in place to safeguard those assets. You will Make an Impact By: + Providing financial/commercial information and analysis which enables the management of the company’s business with a focus on quality, performance and profitability. + Leading all finance functions (accounting, controlling, treasury audit, tax, etc.) for Atotech Brazil & partner with Argentina + Fully responsible for the monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting/financial statements according to local GAAP and IFRS-requirements + Establishing efficient accounting & controlling processes + Overall responsibility for organization of monthly closing, budget, forecast and business planning processes/routines + Performing ongoing business follow-up and analyses (e.g. actual vs. plan comparisons) + Working closely with the Finance Director Europe and Group departments to implement pro-active, business-driven controlling systems and tools reflecting the underlying business development (Income Statement, Net Working Capital and Cash Flow) + Leading the Finance team (4 subordinates) and motivate team members + Member of the local senior management team + Ensuring risk management procedures and controls effective execution + Ensuring the application of worldwide rules/SOPs and implement corrective actions + Overseeing the credit management processes + Ensuring that worldwide rules and policies are being applied + Acting as Business Partner/"Challenger" to the Managing Director and respective business departments + Adhoc analyses for local Management and Group departments Skills You Bring: + University Degree in Administration, Economics, Accounting, or Applicable + CRC is a plus + 5+ years of experience in Finance with experience in AP, AR, Treasury + Strong background in Accounting with knowledge of taxes + Advanced English (written and spoken) + Excel and ERP experience especially FI, CO; we use SAP + Leadership capability + Analytical thought and complex thinking skills Preferred Skills : + MS in Finance or Controlling + Experience in controlling, financial areas and management including Accounting routines About US: Atotech, a brand within the Materials Solutions Division of MKS Instruments, develops leading process and manufacturing technologies for advanced surface modification, electroless and electrolytic plating, and surface finishing.
