David Weekley Homes has an opportunity for highly motivated individuals to join our Accounting & Finance Team as a Finance Coordinator. Our office is located near Katy Freeway & 610W.

Job Responsibilities:

Communicate daily with title companies and internal team members regarding timing of lot purchase transactions, acting as liaison for DWHInitiate lot purchases and coordinate closing transactions with Title Companies and AttorneysReview lot purchase closing documents for accuracy using the purchase contracts to research and confirm correct closing costs and creditsCreate, maintain and update any reporting or tracking documents to ensure accurate and timely lot purchasesMonitoring, and sometimes limiting, the quantity and lot type of certain transactions through the appropriate approval processWork closely with team members in all new and upcoming markets to establish and facilitate correct lot purchase proceduresOther special projects and reporting as needed
Qualifications5+ years experience working with loan and closing process at a Mortgage or Title company is preferred as well as an understanding of lot purchase contractsFour year degree with Business specialization preferredProficiency in MS Excel required.  Experience using formulas, graphs/charts, spreadsheets strongly desiredProficiency in MS Office-Word and OutlookLack of "call reluctance"Demonstrated experience communicating with others by phone on a regular basis and consistently meeting deadlinesAbility to multi-task, maintain attention to detail and manage time are essential
