Position Summary:
The Nutrition E2E Operations Finance Director is a strategic leadership role, reporting to the CFO of Global Nutrition, responsible for the financial management of Nutrition End-to-End (E2E) operational costs, encompassing procurement, manufacturing, supply chain, and inventory management across a global network of 180+ plants, 100+ co-manufacturing locations, 500+ warehouses. This role drives financial performance by leading detailed operational financial analysis, cost planning, and cross-functional collaboration with key business and operations stakeholders to ensure alignment with overall business strategies.

Key Responsibilities:E2E Operational Financial Leadership: Oversee E2E operational financial performance, including monthly analysis, annual budgeting, and long-term strategic planning. Partner with senior leadership teams across operations, procurement, and supply chain to provide financial counsel and influence decision-making. Align financial goals with broader business strategies and drive productivity initiatives.Operational Financial Analysis and Reporting: Lead monthly operational financial reviews and provide actionable insights on variances and trends. Translate operational improvements into financial impacts and communicate bottom-line contributions effectively to drive productivity agenda. Manage and improve reporting processes for consistent and transparent communication with stakeholders.Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP): Play an integral role in S&OP processes, ensuring financial alignment in discussions and decisions. Provide financial input on resource allocation, demand forecasting, and operational planning to maximize efficiency and profitability. Drive collaboration between finance, operations, and supply chain to integrate financial insights into S&OP strategy.Inventory Financial Management: Oversee financial planning and reporting for inventory, including cost optimization and valuation. Develop and implement processes to manage inventory levels, reduce costs, and align with working capital goals. Monitor inventory-related risks and opportunities, providing recommendations to improve financial outcomes.Operations Capital budgeting: Review and provide input on non-discretionary operational expenses (NDE projects) to ensure alignment with operational and business strategies and goals. Partner with operations teams to assess and prioritize cost and productivity improvement projects (CPI projects), ensuring financial feasibility and impact. Lead financial evaluations of capital investments, aligning with corporate priorities and optimizing returns. Track and report progress on cost-saving initiatives and capital projects, ensuring adherence to budgetary and timeline targets.Operational Collaboration: Engage with Business Leaders, BU Finance Teams, Operations, Procurement and Supply Chain teams to align strategies and operational plans. Develop and improve PowerBI dashboards to report KPIs to support the financial integration of manufacturing, procurement, and supply chain across a global network of 180+ plants, 100+ co-manufacturing locations, 500+ warehouses.Risk and Opportunity Management: Identify risks and opportunities within E2E operations and provide actionable recommendations. Support strategic investments and initiatives, ensuring alignment with corporate financial priorities.Team and Process Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop financial models and tools that enhance operational efficiency. Champion continuous improvement initiatives and develop processes to adapt to evolving business needs.Educational and Experience Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Engineering or Business Administration; MBA preferredMinimum 15 years of experience in a similar position in large multinationals and ideally Human and Animal Nutrition businesses close to manufacturing, logistics and distribution operationsStrong background in operational financial planning, analysis, and reporting with a focus on operational integration and complexity management.Proven experience in S&OP planning and inventory financial management.Experience working in an organization with centralized services functions providing global business services or shared services activitiesDemonstrate leadership by working across functions, regionals and businesses through influence and ability to challenge senior leaders, manage stakeholder relationships, and drive cross-functional collaborationAbility to work in a challenging environment with multiple, changing and competing prioritiesResults and continuous improvement oriented; ability to drive initiatives and lead changesStrong problem solving skills with a proactive and pragmatic approach; willingness to roll-up sleeves and make things happen; strong follow skills through and detail orientedMobility to travel as neededEffective oral and written communication skills as well as ability to work with various levels of office and operational contacts; good presentation with an ability to communicate clearlyPositive, ‘can do’ hands on attitude with good influencing and stakeholder management skillsFunctional experience:Minimum of 15 years of experience in operational financial planning, reporting and analysisSolid analytical, data analysis and valuation skillsCapital budgeting and investment experience including partnership opportunities and strategic investments.  Experience with business modeling, forecasting, and operational financial analysisResults-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and change management.This role offers the opportunity to shape the financial strategy of a dynamic global business unit, directly contributing to the growth and operational excellence of ADM Nutrition Segment.
